CONSTRUCTING SUSTAINABILITY FROM THE GRASSROOTS

Helping create environmental consciousness, collectively regenerate environments and economically develop marginalized communities. OBJECTIVE Strengthen sustainability education by fostering the creation of communities of peace and resilience in the first bioregional training center in the state of Jalisco and in the near future replicate the project in two more states: Nayarit & Yucatán. MISSION The purpose of a Bioregional Training Center for Sustainability in Lake Chapala is to help educate about the environmental challenges confronted at a local level; provide didactic, hands-on, solution-based training; and support the development of sustainable entrepreneurs among the youth.

LEAD – through workshops, conferences, demonstrations and training that propose integrated sustainability that become replicable at a bioregional, national, and international level.
